About Broadway North
Created by a theater kid, for theater kids
Broadway North founder, Allison Case brings years of stage experience and an open-hearted approach to help students find their voice, trust their instincts, and bring depth to their performances—all while nurturing a spirit of collaboration.
When I’m asked about my experience as an artist—whether as an actor on and off Broadway, a student, or a teacher—I always return to the community that has supported me, and the one I’m proud to support in return.
In an industry where words like competition and better are often emphasized, I want to say clearly: those words aren’t just unhelpful—they hold us back. They distract from the beauty that lives at the core of the theater community I know so well, and from our true potential as artists.
Our theater community is where we learn from one another and lean on each other as we navigate the world. We land dream roles and lose others. We gather, challenge each other to grow, to learn and unlearn, to embrace change. We blast show tunes on repeat. We try again. We inspire one another.
Because at its heart, the work we do on stage is as human as we are. Our roles carry the full range of emotions and experiences we all know in one way or another. When we sing or act from that honest, grounded place—when we return to who we are, where we’ve been, what we hope for, and what we know to be true— something powerful happens.
Whether in a theater or a classroom, that’s when the audience feels it. That’s when they’re transformed.
This is our magic. This is our gift as artists: to connect.
