In 30 minutes, Allison took my 13-year-old's performance of "What it Means to be a Friend" (13: The Musical) from lovely & sweet to a thoughtful, nuanced journey. Allison didn't prescribe what movements to make or emotions to portray — she explained how focusing on the different moments would convey the complex journey the narrator experiences; then Allison helped my daughter find her own way to navigate through the song. There was a marked difference in my daughter's performance — she received extensive compliments not only from the audience, but from the creative directors of the show. I would absolutely engage Allison for regular coaching!
